People Who Mattered ……

When I was about to fly back from UK after spending long 15 months, goin
g through some good and bad times, my heart was asking me only One question, will I ever meet them again, will they be a part of my life in future, will they will feel the same attachment for me when I will be far by distance… though I was not able to get to the answer of that, but on the flight back home I just promised myself that I will do my best to keep the relations I made in last few months to last forever.
It’s been a more than a month now, and to be honest I am missing my buddies a lot. I just felt like writing this blog to let them know how important they are to me and what I gained and learned from them during my stay with them. All the people in the list below are the ones who are really close to my heart and
there is no specific order of rank because these all are best amongst equals for me…

I want to start with Rahul Bajaj……urf My Rajjjo……., A cool dude from Delhi. He is like a younger brother to me. I met him before flying to UK and his nature won my heart in few hours. He is guy with a great personality though overweight but a charismatic appearance who knows how to carry himself in a group. Rajjjo really was my backbone and his care and respect for me was something which I will always be thankful of. Rajjjo knew how to win my heart…. atleast through his cooking abilities.Rajjjo, was a lover too…. the guy knew How to love someone unconditionally.Bajaj sahaab you really made my journey easy and worth enjoying. I learned value of time and hardwork from you. Though, I am still against your theory of booking tickets in advance without proper planning. But bro, I just wanna assure you, that I am always standing with you in every situation and you can rely on me and I will never forget what you did in my room after Ievu’s birthday party……lol…..love you bro…

Now comes, Mr Ankit Chauhan… Ankit and I had bit similar kind of background. Both are high level engineers…lol…and with approximately similar span of work experience. We were plotted together by god, it seems. As from the start of the journey, we had similar thought process about things, to be honest his point of view was sometimes much better than mine. He was silently my best pal as he played a moderator character throughout. He knew the fact that life is all about prioritizing things. He always made me realize the importance of keeping my life and goals above other stupid matters I always peeped into and always supported me in my good and bad times..(bad times were bit more…lol…). Ankit is the guy, I knew I can him call at 2 in the morning and will never get a negative reply. Bro, you are really important person in my life and I am really thankful to you for being there when it needed the most.

Talking about Jinesh Jain now, urf Jinny urf JRJO….Jinny is the guy, every parent wishes for. He is the guy who didn’t even have a single bad habit ( amazingly)…. He is from a different league of guys who are good in whatever they do. A great sportsman, a great student, a great party guy and a great friend. His point of view towards things was different and mostly correct. He knew where to draw line between White, grey and black. He always supported the right thing no matter what people felt. It was not easy as it sounds, as we were far from our home but this quality of his to be honest and individual in views always won my heart and made him most trustworthy person amongst the group. Bro where ever you live, in times whenever I will get stuck in a position to take a decision, I will remember you for sure….just be there…lol…..thanks bro for everything….

Now it comes to Madiha Khalid urf Begum… She was our batch mate in MBA and the only girl whose room was in our flat ’84. She is a really matured girl and was very much focused to earn well while studying, as her aim was to pay the rest half of her fees by herself. I can say even this thought represented that she was a tough girl inside as we were talking about fees which were in Lacs of rupees. She is though very clever too as she had the skill of understanding people and make a good impression of her on them. Madiha is the person, whom I always shared my life with without hesitation. She listened to me so calmly (as a mother…sometimes….lol) and always advised me to keep smiling and life will smile with me....Madiha,is one of the girls who really respected her customs and culture which made me respect her more with time. Though I had some bad times, but she always forgot the faults and came back strong for emotional support whenever I needed. She may act as a tough nut from outside, but I know she is the sweetest girl inside….. I really want to meet you again Madiha ji…and I promise I will…

The next one is Miss Saba Mutalik…..Urf Miss Cullen…the mysterious girl ….
Saba ,devil as I call her is different from others…. She does everything in differently and no 1 in the world can guess whats going on in her mind. Though people tried to do that, and failed….lol… she is like my younger sister … she usually spent most of her time on her laptop …but speaking from the heart she was the most focussed student in there. I have never seen so much passion for learning in any one else in my life. She though seemed as a confused person to all but when talking about her professional course, she was right at the core of it. She usually stayed away from emotional disputes but I know she is equally emotional as a person as I am. Saba, I really loved the moments you made the tea for all of us and I promise you, I will surely organise a reunion as I have promised you. Thanks for being my sweet little sister…..

Talking about Miss Arpeeta Thakur urf appy urf appu….. My youngest sister…. Appy is the one girl whom I think is still a Child ..though I know she will disagree on that with me…. But she is so sweet that I love her calling a child. She is the person who has a passion about her field. The girl is well loved by her family specially her dad has made everything possible for her. She is very caring, soft and is my cutest sister. Though we both came close at the last stage of my journey, but the bonding with her is really strong. Though she is on the curve of understanding tricks and traits of life but her simplicity and soberness is the unique factor of her which makes her different from others. I really love her from the bottom of my heart and want her to know that, I will always be there. I wanna see her achieve her dreams and make her family and all of us proud…..appy I am really thankful to you for being supportive of me when everybody else left….

Now , talking about Mr. Mohit Mavi….. the guys whose presence always uplifted my mood… the guy knows the art of hiding hurt and sadness behind his smile.. mohit is definition of a smart street guy… with all the tricks of winning a person’s heart in his pocket. He has a great sense of humour and amazingly the same choice for music as of mine which is the main factor I love him so much. The guy understands what really matters in life, is to be there for friends when they really need you. He is the person who never said NO to me and always tried to safeguard me from bad people. Mohit bro I am waiting for you to come back Delhi soon ….will love to sit with you and hear to our favourite songs……

Turns comes for Mr Aakash Kimatkar….Aakash is the most sentiii of the group after me…..guy can give his life in friendship hehehe…very emotional person, that you have to be in check with your words while talking to him, as his sensitive nature is prone to heartbreaks….lol….He is the guy who love big boots and big headphones…fond of music and playing with fire. Brother you are really tough and wish you the best for future…..

Guys I wrote what I felt…. I LOVE YOU GUYS A LOT…..sorry if I hurted any one…. AND yeah i wanted to put single pics of all...but space was limited...

Though the list of people I miss is long…but these were the ones who really made the importance felt….in next blogs will mention others…..

It all started here....

23rd Sept 2010, I boarded for UK with the aim to do MBA and give uplift to my career. Plan was simple as dad said “Go son, study hard and make us proud”. I nodded well after listening dad’s advice but I think I forgot it, the moment I boarded in the flight.
We (me and my friends Rajjo, AC and PC) were quite excited, as we all knew that it’s a start of a new journey for us.. A new life was awaiting us.. All had some hopes of achieving something big, eyes were full of excitement and company of new friends was enjoyable.
Life gave us the first hurdle very soon, as we missed the connecting flight from London to Manchester. Tired body, unknown territory, company of friends who were still strangers, White European faces and view of the world’s busiest airport (Heathrow) made the first hour on British soil, quite an experience. But we were excited…yes, it was the party, the first party which was hosted by University for the International students, was running all over our mind which kept the blood running and kept us charged. The luck turned well and we got the connected flight to Manchester and then a bus from there to Leeds and we were sure that we will reach Leeds on time for the party.

We reached our destination.. Maddy (the girl which was my closest friend, whom I met her though fb and the girl who searched the accommodation) welcomed us warmly on the gate of our accommodation and we entered the flat “84”. But entry was full of excitement to meet some more fb friends. A group of four other strangers was awaiting us (Me and Rajjo). I knocked the door of flat “83” in excitement to meet our new friends, and Appu opened the door. We met her and I was so excited that I blasted into another room (MJ’s room). I hugged MJ as I knew him a bit through lot many telephonic conversations. I turned back and here I saw Hitler, a beautiful girl from the city of nights. Though, for the formality, I introduced myself and Rajjo to them and gave them the half hour bracket to get ready for the party. While going back to our flat, I and Rajjo noticed a girl Miss Cullen sneaking from the door. We said Hi but she left without the response leaving both of us surprised.
It was all set. All got ready on time and we were off for the party together in cabs. Appu, MJ and Maddy were very friendly and on the other hand Hitler and Cullen were a bit reserved. It was obvious to be like that as we were still strangers. Party was OK OK… but it was the moment we got pictured together for the first time. Though, at that time the pictures were meaningless too, as it had fake togetherness and camera smiles on. Maddy was all over the place searching for students which came for MBA, and as soon as she found someone, she shouted JASSI MBA…which became a tag line for her for quite some time. We were smiling, we were happy, we were miles away from our homes, but still we found a group which we proudly named FAMILY. Hitler was observing all, she melted her attitude soon and got mixed up till the end of the party..MJ became a brother and Rajjo became one of the best buddy, I cherish. Cullen was still a puzzle though. But Appu’s innocence and smile won the heart on the first go.It’s the day I will never forget. One of the best days of my life, though the puzzle named Cullen was still to be solved.

We got back home ordered our first dinner from outside. All were gelling well together.

And then the story began…………………………..

The journey started here…………….and we created a family of “10 +1” strangers….
